Once upon a time our little shop was located in the main barn on our wind and solar powered family farm!
Our homestead is tucked away in the country side of Flamborough Ontario in a thick cedar bush along side Fetchers creek and ecological reserve.
Here we offered pasture raised chicken and duck eggs, pastured pork, grass fed lamb, sheep milk products and fresh farm house baking and preserves.
We loved our little farm shop and the customers and families who managed to find us off the beaten trail loved visiting the farm and interacting with and being chased around the barn yard by our free roaming animals.
As the farm grew we were finding ourselves with a small surplus of farm fresh fare and products so we began to attend the Dundas farmers Market in 2007 and later joined our home town farmers market in the Village of Waterdown.
In the years that followed the little shop in the barn and our farmers market stalls became very busy and we were so relieved and so thankful !
However the increased traffic at the farm became a safety issue for our visitors and our free roaming animals. We had to find a solution.
In the fall of 2015 after much debate and hesitation we moved the little barn shop from our home to the Village of Waterdown Ontario.
Nestled in the heritage core of the Village of Waterdown our little shop has expanded to include a inspected commercial kitchen and become a source for other sustainable ethically produced products from other local family farms and businesses. Our strong commitment to environmental sustainability, family run businesses and ethics have enabled us to continue to offer a curated selection of quality products in a farmers market setting.

We sincerely thank you for your support and look forward to serving you and your family at the Village Shop.
